Why Choose Duck Eggs?

We're totally in love with our Indian Runner ducks and chickens, and we think our organic duck and chicken eggs are super tasty. Even though they both munch on organic feed and greens, duck and chicken eggs aren't quite the same. Duck eggs just have their own unique makeup.
Duck eggs remain fresh for a longer period
Thanks to their naturally thicker shell and inner membrane, duck eggs maintain their freshness for a longer time.
Duck eggs are richer and creamier
With a significantly larger yolk and higher fat content, duck eggs are richer and creamier, offering a less watery taste compared to chicken eggs. Their whites are very thick, making them ideal for poaching or frying.
Duck eggs have more protein
Containing about 30% more protein than chicken eggs, duck eggs are often suitable for those allergic to chicken eggs. The higher fat and protein content, combined with less water and a greater yolk-to-white ratio, results in fluffier cakes, higher meringues and soufflés, and lighter breads and cookies.
Duck eggs pack more nutrients
Ounce for ounce, duck eggs have more Omega-3, Vitamins A and D, fatty acids, choline, folate, and iron compared to chicken eggs.
No matter which of our eggs that you choose, you will love the taste!
