Our Egyptian Chickens

With a distinct appearance marked by a slim and upright posture, our Egyptian Fayoumi chickens have feathers with striking black and silver feather patterns. They are excellent layers, consistently producing a substantial number of eggs year-round of medium sized eggs.

Originating from Egypt, this smaller breed is highly versatile, capable of thriving in our climate and desert environment. They are known for their hardiness, disease resistance, and relatively low maintenance which makes them perfect for our chicken tractor. We are able to fit seven hens and a rooster in the 28 square foot tractor.
